Burckhardt Compression Secures Orders

Switzerland-based Burckhardt Compression, the global leading specialist in high-pressure
process gas compressors and LNG terminal compression solutions, officially announced
on April 22, 2026 that the company has successfully won a batch of large-scale global
engineering equipment orders for LNG terminal boil-off gas compression systems.
According to the released contract details, this batch of projects includes a total of eight
sets of customized boil-off gas (BOG) compressors and one additional send-out process
compressor unit, which will be applied to key LNG import and storage terminal projects
in Thailand and Taiwan Province of China respectively.
LNG terminal operation relies heavily on high-performance compression equipment to
manage low-temperature boil-off gas generated during cryogenic natural gas storage,
regulate internal system pressure balance, reduce valuable natural gas loss during storage
and regasification processes, and ensure stable and safe continuous operation of the
entire terminal energy supply chain. The compressor units obtained in this order adopt
Burckhardt's self-developed advanced oil-free compression technology, which features
ultra-high operational stability, low long-term energy consumption, minimal maintenance
demand and excellent high-temperature, low-temperature environmental adaptability.
These customized compressor systems are optimized for extreme cryogenic working
conditions of LNG storage, which can efficiently recover and compress boil-off gas under
complex variable working conditions, effectively improve the overall energy utilization
efficiency of terminal facilities, meet strict global industrial carbon emission reduction
and clean operation regulatory requirements. The successful order winning further
reflects the global recognition of Burckhardt Compression's core technology strength in
the field of medium and large-scale process gas compression.

Andreas Brautsch, President of Burckhardt Compression Systems Division, commented on
the newly acquired contracts: "The continuous large-scale order growth in global LNG
infrastructure projects fully proves the market competitiveness of our professional
compression solutions. With the global energy structure transformation accelerating and
regional natural gas import demand continuing to rise worldwide, high-reliability, high
efficiency process compressor equipment has become core supporting equipment for
energy terminal construction. We will adhere to strict engineering delivery standards,
complete equipment manufacturing, on-site installation and commissioning on schedule,
and provide full-cycle after-sales technical support for all cooperative projects, assisting
global energy infrastructure construction with professional compression technology."
In addition to terminal compression equipment supply, the cooperation also includes
long-term technical maintenance, equipment performance optimization and spare
parts guarantee services, which will fully guarantee the stable long-cycle operation of
all delivered compressor units in subsequent project operation.
